Our desire is for you to spend time and share with us our wonderful unique piece of Australia on the Darling Downs.
Relax in a peaceful setting where you can view the breeding cattle and their calves grazing in tranquil surroundings or just do your own thing in our cool clean air.
If you like bird watching, or watching the wallabies and
kangaroos early morning and late afternoon or relaxing after dinner and admiring the
Milky Way in the evening hours in a quiet peaceful setting or just sitting and admiring our solar lights in the peace and darkness, then you will hopefully enjoy your stay.
LOCAL ATTRACTIONS AND THINGS TO DO

Take a short drive and visit the boyhood home of Arthur Hoey Davis “Steel Rudd” who was the author of classic Australian stories including 'On our Selection' which led to the Dad and Dave radio series.
The small park includes a replica of the old shingle hut where Arthur Davis lived.

Gardens and National Parks surrounding Toowoomba City. Enjoy a picnic lunch in manicured gardens and beautiful surroundings.

Spring Bluff Railway Station is an experience that capsulates the heart of all its visitors. With its stunning award winning gardens at Toowoomba carnival of flowers It continues to be a crowd pleaser. Enjoy a 35 minute steam train ride to one of Australia’s most historic railway stations during carnival time.

Treat yourself to the finest collection of horse-drawn vehicles at the
COBB and Co Museum. The museum houses over fifty horse drawn vehicles. Sturdy drays and farm wagons tell the story of European settlement on the Darling Downs. Sulkies and buggies demonstrate transportation imported into Australia during the 1880s. Elaborate Phaetons, Victoria and Landau carriages give a glimpse of the grandeur of times when the pace of everyday life was a little slower. Original Cobb and Co coaches, including the last coach which ran from Yuleba to Surat in 1924, are the pride of the collection.

Relax and enjoy our beautiful and peaceful
University Japanese Gardens located on a 4.5 hectare site on the northern side of the campus. It is Australia’s largest and most traditionally designed Japanese stroll garden you will encounter. Its elements of mountain stream and waterfall, Dry Garden, central lake, Azalea Hill, 3 km of paths, 230 species of Japanese and Australian native trees and plants, and lawns combine in a seamless and restful harmony. Its outdoor
splendour is often the venue for weddings.
